| This
is our pet FERDO, in fact he is my daughter Morana's
tomcat, a perfect addition to our „British“ cat family. Ferdo
is an oriental, and the favourite of the whole family (both feline
and human). He is also an excellent addition to semi-active „Brits“
because he keeps them constantly on the move. |

On
Orientals
These are exceptionally intelligent, curious, full
of temperament, active and cheerful cats, clean
and very vocal. Sometimes you really feel they talk
to you. They learn very quickly how to bring back
thrown balls, and the favourite toy of our Ferdo
is a pen (ballpoint).
They like to be in the centre of attention and are
very attached to their owner. They need attention
in everyday life, but also warmth because of their
short and laid down hair (without undercoat), and
that’s why they are looking for every chance to
curl up beside you. Not much time is needed for
taking care of their hair, this is something they
do themselves and are very clean cats; however,
some care is needed concerning the diet because
they are sensitive in this respect. |

| In
any case, if you want a kitty that you can cuddle and fondle,
play and communicate with it any time you want, but also
any time it wants, an Oriental is the ideal choice. If you
are not ready for a full engagement about a cat and want
your peace, get a statue or a picture – not a pet, and especially
not an Oriental. |
